About Francesca Stutely
Aged 21 I travelled through India and Nepal, where I contracted amoebic dysentery, then a viral illness, which resulted in reactive arthritis. Unable to walk properly it set me on a path to my own healing. As I continued on my travels I tried various traditional and alternative therapies to get well. I was in and out of hospitals, and became very frustrated and confused by all the conflicting advice.
After sitting in a wheelchair one day I decided the arthritis was not going to beat me and I realised I had to rely on myself for answers. I started on a personal journey to health. I was absolutely determined to get well; with a mixture of holistic therapies, and a different mental attitude, I changed my diet, and my party lifestyle. I received and then studied The Rosen Method bodywork. I started Yoga, and studied NLP (Neuro linguistic programming). I believe it takes a continuing combination of disciplines, both mental and physical to achieve ongoing health and wellbeing.
I have run two marathons and completed several triathlons. As well as yoga I enjoy long distance open sea swimming.
I am a Sivananda Hatha Yoga instructor, completing my training in 2006.
I completed my 4 year training, becoming a Rosen Method Bodywork Practitioner in 1995, having been lucky enough to study with Marion Rosen herself, in Berkeley, California.
I first qualified as an NLP practitioner with Richmond life coaching in Denia, Spain in 2007, and completed my NLP Master Practitioner’s course with Robbie Steinhouse at the NLP School, London, in 2011.
I see clients globally for bespoke retreats and wellness programs.
